Any pastor – young or old – needs to spend some time gleaning from this book the author’s vision for the preaching of God’s Word.

Alma’s recorded sermons, whether formal or spontaneous, weave a tapestry of complex and variegated colors, of rich imagery, and yet of a bold and simple unity which holds in tight focus the unspeakable blessings of accepting the atonement of Jesus Christ.
